46-Year Old Mother of Two Discovers The Simplest Solution To Leg Pain
Do you want to be more in control of your life?
Many people deal with leg pain and fatigue that gets in the way of day-to-day living. It is a common occurrence especially for middle-aged adults to miss out on family trips, hikes, and even quick grocery runs.
Heck, even short walks from the kitchen to the living room becomes difficult when you have tired and aching legs.
Well, I should know. I’m a 46-year old mother of two, who constantly deals with leg pain and swelling due to varicose veins.
Being a mom with a 9 to 5 job is grueling. As an administrative assistant, I’m almost always on my feet--managing and distributing information around the office.
But the job doesn’t end there.
When I get home, I still have to take care of house chores, meals, and deal with a couple of moody teenagers.
Enough is enough. I soon realized that I had to get rid of the thing that caused all this misery. (NO, I’m not talking about my kids. I love them to death!)
I’m talking about the throbbing leg pain I’ve dealt with for 2 years.
Right now, $5000 laser treatments to get rid of my varicose veins is out of the question. I’m just looking for a simple (and cheap) solution to ease the pain and swelling.
I scoured the internet for remedies that could help. The top results include laser treatments, some sketchy ointments, and freaking compression socks.
I thought Google was playing games with me. How could a pair of socks ease the pain and swelling?
Apparently, they can.
My friend Carol is a nurse at the community hospital, and I recently found out that she wears compression socks!
“I can’t go a day without wearing them at work,” she told me.
Out of curiosity I ordered BOOMS Compression Socks online (because that’s what Carol wears).
I honestly had no expectations. Got two pairs for $18.99 each so I didn’t expect it to do anything at all.
I first wore them to work under my black tapered slacks. My initial thoughts? They fit really well.
I thought compression socks would be too tight and make my legs sweat buckets. But surprisingly, none of that happened.
I had an hour left on the clock and I didn’t even notice. Time flies by so fast when you speed through tasks without pain and discomfort.
This was a big deal for me. It’s probably the first time I’ve felt energized after a long day at work.
I wore them for the next 4 days.
The difference was so phenomenal that I even felt bad for being skeptical about it.
Leg swelling, pain, and fatigue? Gone, gone and GONE!
I called Carol to share the good news. She wasn’t surprised though--more like, “I told you so!”
Carol explained that the socks’ 15 to 20 mmHg compression provides great relief for swelling, aching, and varicose veins.
This gentle pressure around the calves and ankles promotes smoother blood flow. As a result, leg pain, swelling and blood clots are prevented.
So that’s why my varicose veins got smaller, huh?
I ordered 2 other pairs of BOOMS--the grey and nude variation for a more neutral look.

These compression socks have now become my closet staples. I’m glad I found the simplest solution to leg pain and swelling.
Obviously, the varicose veins are still there.
But I have more energy and control over my life now--and that’s all that matters.
Okay, I don’t expect you to believe me. But it’s not just Carol and I who feel this way.
